Things I Miss

While being at home is nice and being close to Tim is wonderful there are a few things I have started to miss lately:

My fun and entertaining roommates.

Appalachian's campus. 

The mountains. 

College classes (never thought I would).

Reading for enjoyment.

Living in an apartment (especially since I am still paying rent).

And of course, all day trashy television marathons.

Wreck This Journal

After being inspired by these two lovely ladies, I caved and bought Wreck This Journal.

I bought it awhile ago and finally got around to completing my first page. 

Kind of reminds me of bubbles. 

I had fun completing this page and cannot wait to work on more of them.

The best part was that my page isn't perfect and it's not supposed to be.

Trip to Sissy's House!

Tim and I took a trip out to my sister, Megan's house last weekend. 

I took some wonderful pictures. 

Billy and Megan are raising chickens.

Crafty Headband

Look what I made!

After my Great Grandpa passed away all the great grandkids were given the opportunity to take some his ties. 

I think I took two but I never wear ties and I wanted to be able to wear it somehow. 

So I took his tie and turned it into a flower, then added it to a headband.

Now I can wear it in my hair anytime I want!

I was really happy with the way it turned out.

Charleston Part 3: More Pictures

We took a carriage ride around the beautiful gorgeous city. 

It was fun and I learned a lot. 

It was a little cold but totally worth it. 

We saw so many amazing places.

Today!!

Today I start my first day of student teaching. 

I am excited and nervous all at the same time. 

After this semester I get to graduate. 

I will be closer to being a real grown up. 

It's a little scary but I am excited because I know this is what I want to do for the rest of my life. 

I have more pictures from Charleston but last week ended up being busy with meetings and working on a few wedding plans and enjoying my last few days before the semester starts. 

I will share them with you soon, I promise!

Spirits??

This is a picture I took of the moon one night with my sisters camera.

Is it just me or does that look like some kind of weird spirit ghost type thing?

I know it was probably just something to do with the lighting outside but I still find it to be creepy. 

Charleston Part 2: The Aquarium

While we were in Charleston Tim and I made a visit to the South Carolina Aquarium. 

While I enjoyed it, I didn't think it was quite as impressive as the one we visited in Gatlinburg.

But it was still pretty awesome.

Here are a few of my favorite photos from the aquarium. 

We enjoyed watching this turtle eat. 

It was cute and funny. 

They had an albino alligator. 

That was pretty cool. 

They are very rare because their survival skills aren't very good. 

We were pretty confident this bird was going to attack us! 

It was cool and scary all at the same time. 

We pretended we were an octopus!

This is my most favorite picture from the aquarium. 

This sea turtle was totally awesome dude. (quick name that movie)

I also liked the jellyfish. 

We had fun at the aquarium. 

It was neat to see animals you don't normally see. 

If you are in the area I recommend paying it a visit. 

Charleston Part 1: Exploring

Tim and I spent a few days in Charleston. 

We had so much fun and really enjoyed spending time together. 

Charleston is such a beautiful place.
It always will be to me.

Here are some pictures I took the first day while we were exploring.

We tried to ride the trolley then realized it was faster if we walked every where. 

It was fun to be able to walk anywhere we wanted to go. 

I was obsessed with this bridge. 

This church is so beautiful. 

This sign is amazingly awesome. 

I can't wait to get it printed and framed!

We enjoyed just exploring the city. 

Looking at all of the beautiful buildings and the gorgeous scenery.

Happy New Year!! 

I hope you all had a wonderful New Year's Eve and day! 

We definitely did!

My new year resolutions are:

1. Eat out less - By eating out less not only will I hopefully be eating healthier, I will save some serious cash that I can use for my wedding! 

2. Drink more water and less soda - once again drinking water will help me be healthier. 

3. Remember that the past is the past and that I can't change it.

4. Try new things - I tried some new things in 2010 and I enjoyed it. This year I would like to try more new things and be brave.
